More than three million people tune in each week on radio and television to hear Dr. Kennedy present the Gospel and offer biblical insight on contemporary issues. Hearts and lives are being touched and changed as he proclaims the life-transforming truths of Scripture. A viewer from Philadelphia wrote: “I was quite moved by your sermon today and prayed with you at the end. It gave me a peace that I have not felt for a long time. Compelling radio and television
Coral Ridge Ministries (CRM), the multi-media outreach of Dr. Kennedy, began in 1974 with Dr. Kennedy’s first sermon radiocast to Fort Lauderdale. The television outreach began in 1978 when the church, recognizing the tremendous evangelistic potential of TV, launched The Coral Ridge Hour on two stations. Since then, CRM has grown to a domestic audience of about three million people. Our goal is to expand our audience to 30 million people by 2012.
The Coral Ridge Hour is an award-winning weekly television program that offers Dr. Kennedy’s inspirational preaching, uplifting music, heart-warming testimonies, and a biblical perspective on today’s critical issues. The flagship broadcast of Coral Ridge Ministries, The Coral Ridge Hour is carried nationwide and overseas on Middle East Television, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and the Armed Forces Network.
Truths That Transform is a daily 30-minute radio program featuring messages from Dr. Kennedy. It is carried nationwide and on Bible Voice Broadcasting internationally. The Spanish edition of Truths That Transform is Verdades Que Transforman. We also air The Kennedy Commentary, a daily 90-second radio feature that offers Dr. Kennedy’s compelling insights into contemporary life and airs nationwide.
Our web outreach, at www.coralridge.org, features news and information plus audio and video content from Dr. Kennedy. Some six million people visited the site in 2006.
Impact
A key measure of CRM’s impact is the number of people who come to faith in Jesus Christ. Each month, hundreds of people request Dr. Kennedy’s book for new believers, Beginning Again. “Largely due to your wonderful ministry, I am a new Christian,” an individual wrote. “Please send me your book, Beginning Again.”
CRM is supported entirely by charitable contributions from listeners and viewers nationwide and is a member in good standing of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
