October Hurricane Slams South
Florida, Damages Church
Hurricane Wilma roared
across South Florida on October
24 with wind speeds topping 100
mph. The worst storm to hit Fort
Lauderdale since 1950, Wilma
left 98 percent of residents
without electric power. Coral
Ridge Presbyterian Church was
particularly hard hit by the
powerful storm.

Petitions Push Bill to Defund
ACLU
In late September, the
Center re-launched an online
petition to check the ability of
the ACLU and other groups to
remove God from public life at
taxpayer expense. In November,
Center Government Analyst Walter
Jones personally hand delivered
the result. More than 165,000
petitions were presented to the
office of Rep. John Hostettler
(IN-8).

Supports Young Earth
Findings from an eight-year
scientific research project
seriously challenge the

is 4.6 billion years old.

All Creation Sings
Wilma paid us a visit in the
Fort Lauderdale area on October
24, 2005. She came quickly, with
hurricane winds of up to 110
miles per hour. We thank God
that He kept us safe. Praise
God, CSI was back on line after
the first week. However, other
parts of Coral Ridge Ministries
took up to two weeks to return
to normal operations.
