The
huge smile of Hannah Elizabeth, now almost six months old,
would be missing from her mother’s life, if not for The
Coral Ridge Hour, Dr. Kennedy weekly television program.
When Nicole, a 32 year-old single professional discovered
she was pregnant in late 2002, abortion appeared the
solution.
She “had always thought it was okay,” she wrote, so,
pressured by the father, she planned to abort her unborn
child. But she changed her mind after watching Coral
Ridge Hour programs on abortion that she just “came
upon.”
Nicole gave birth to her baby girl, Hannah Elizabeth,
on June 16. “She sends a huge ‘thank you,’” Nicole told Dr.
Kennedy, “for sending the message to her mother that
abortion was not for us.”
Hannah is home for Christmas. Thank God.
Thank you!
This is only one example of the those who have
responded to Dr. Kennedy’s powerful broadcast outreach. More
than 16,000 people indicated a decision for Christ in 2003
by requesting Beginning Again, Dr. Kennedy’s book for
new believers.
Our television and radio programs reach more than 3
million people each week. Some listen overseas. “I was happy
to hear your radio program Sunday night here in Baghdad
International Airport, our ‘temporary home’…. Thank you for
the great radio program!”
Operation Believe
Coral Ridge Ministries launched Operation Believe this
spring, providing over 50,000 copies of a special Armed
Service Edition of Dr. Kennedy’s book, Why I Believe
to troops in Iraq and around the world. “I see people all
around our camp reading them!” wrote Chaplain Ken Stone,
CENTCOM (rear) Chaplain, from the Middle East.
We also stood with Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore in
defense of the right to

acknowledge God, with
gifts totaling $225,000, sent to the Ten Commandments
Defense Fund.
And our Center
for Christian Statesmanship in Washington, D.C., is
touching lives. A Capitol Hill staffer noted,” It seems that
God has put you in the right place to make a difference in
the lives of many multitudes.”
Petitions Sent
The Center for
Reclaiming America hosted a successful grassroots
training conference (see below), recruited some 2700
Community Leaders, and mobilized its online Electronic Army
during 2003. The Center’s E-Army generated, for example,
162,000 petitions in support of the public display of the
Ten Commandments.
Coral Ridge Ministries also petitioned our nation’s
leaders to end partial birth abortion (29,000 petitions),
amend the Constitution to define marriage to be the union of
a man and a woman (22,000 petitions), confirm federal judges
(25,000 petitions), and pass the Houses of Worship Free
Speech Protection Act (23,697 petitions).
Together, with God’s help and your prayer and financial
support, we accomplished much in 2003!
Conference Offers Hope
They came from 33 states and were not
disappointed. The 550 people who gathered
in
Fort Lauderdale for the 2003 Reclaiming America For
Christ Grassroots Training Conference, October 24-25 at
Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, loaded up on ideas and
inspiration to equip and mobilize them to impact their
communities for Christ.
